Infant & Toddler Forum
Judy is a member of the Infant & Toddler Forum. She is jointly responsible for preparing Factsheets and In Briefs for this educational forum on infant and toddler nutrition and development. Judy also presents at the study days for midwives and health professionals and has written the training manuals.
Judy is a nutrition consultant to Mothercare. She writes nutrition articles for the magazine that is issued to update Mothercare staff on latest guidelines and advice for parents. Click here to see the videos Judy has made for Mothercare.
Judy has written website copy on nutrition for babies and toddlers for the Phillips-Avent consumer website. She also developed recipes and wrote the accompanying booklet for a steamer/blender product. She presented on Toddler Nutrition at a press conference for the Asia/Pacific region.
Judy was appointed to write the website copy on feeding babies and toddlers when a new range of chilled baby food was launched.
Department of Health
Healthy Start vitamin supplements. Judy along with colleagues identified the need for these in 2005 and proposed new vitamins should be manufactured and marketed. She project managed the selection of suppliers to manufacture the vitamins and developed a marketing strategy for the two new sets of vitamins.
Multinational Food Company
Judy was recently invited to present to a FMCG multinational on the subject of nutrition and growth in children aged 5-12. Included in her presentation was information relating to the key nutrients missing from many children’s diets.
Judy is a regular presenter on infant and child nutrition at the study days held for midwives and health professionals.
British Dietetics Association Public Relations
As was a member of the BDA’s PR committee advising the association on their communications strategy. She contributed to their website content and gave talks to student dieticians.
National Day Nurseries Association
Judy was asked by the NDNA to create a training module for them in order to train their nursery staff on the subject of nutrition of nursery age children. She has also reviewed and modified their recipe book.
