“Thank you very much for the detailed report that you emailed to us and sent to our GP. We both found the meeting with you to be extremely informative and now feel more positive and confident about Freddie’s eating behaviours. We are now beginning to enjoy mealtimes and understand how best to cope with Freddie’s fussy eating – your advice has made a massive difference to mealtimes.” – Mother of a 3 year old fussy eater
“I found the meeting very useful and reassuring. I’ve just done a huge weekly shop, purchasing the foods and ingredients you suggested. Hopefully the increase in calories should be sufficient to build Andrew up a bit. We have had a nice chat reassuring him there is no pressure to eat dairy, and he is happy to take his calcium supplement.” – Mother of an underweight five year old
“Thank you for the letter. We are already a week in on a new regime and it is working really well I think.” – Mother of a 2 ½ year old overweight girl
“Thanks Judy for meeting us; the advice you offered us was very comforting and we are a lot more relaxed about Maisie’s eating. We are now back from our holiday, which was a great success with Maisie eating a wide variety of foods with us at meal time.” – Mother of a 2 ½ year old fussy eater
“Thank you so much Judy for this excellent letter. I really enjoyed meeting you yesterday and am comforted to know that Molly is okay but I really am so pleased that I have learnt more about her daily nutrition and what she should be eating etc. I have already bought some vitamins and am giving her more snacks. Thank you so much again and I’ll be in touch if needs be.” – Mother of a 2 ½ year old with a possible milk intolerance
“Thanks Judy, Tom did really well for a few days but is having a week this week of not wanting to eat. I have found a few of the things you suggested have worked – not offering alternatives, not pushing the food and less milk. So, thank you, the meeting with you was very useful and I feel much more confident.” – Mother of a 22 month old fussy eater
“Thank you for yesterday, you have really put my mind at ease. I wish I had spoken with you a few months ago. I now feel confident that I can work with Nicholas to get him eating a greater variety of foods. I have forwarded your details to Dr. Smith as a great contact for people in the future.” – Mother of a 17 month old with reflux, milk allergy and feeding problems
“Thanks for our consultaiton the other day. It was very enlightening. Since then, Lily has been eating a lot better, at the kitchen table and in her high chair (well, standing up in her high chair). This is a huge improvement from the floor, coffee table and TV as a distraction. We have been giving her finger foods, as you suggested, and she seems to be enjoying her food again. She hasn’t had a puree since the consultation.” – Mother of a 12 month old fussy eater
“Judy, thank you for your time yesterday. We’ve found it really reassuring to hear a professional viewpoint, and I think you’ve given us some good direction and realistic goals.” – Father of a 2 year old fussy, faddy eater
“Thank you very much for the email and the very useful advice that you gave to us, it is already making a difference! We will be in touch if we have any queries. Thanks again.” – Mother of an 18-month old boy with multiple food allergies
“Many thanks for the extended consultation with my two boys.Your professional advice was very well balanced yet incisive and provided a much needed light beam on the way forward towards a healthier fututre for my children. l have no doubt we’ll be back at the end of the summer although I will probably be in contact you in interim for additional advice.” – Father of an obese boy, aged 6 years
“Thank you very much for seeing Sophie and me yesterday. I found it extremely helpful and it was a really positive experience for Sophie. The letter you have sent is great; I’m going to email it to Sophie’s teacher so she can have a read and discuss it with whoever she needs to, then arrange a meeting for next week.” – Mother of a 9 year old fussy eater
“Thank you for your advice regarding my daughter Hayley and I am so very grateful. Thank you so much for your time and the very helpful and encouraging information. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to be listened to after months of battling with this reflux and feeding. We have started weaning and have so far introduced five different foods. We will keep on going! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. “ – Mother of a 5 month old
